What a WEEK!!!!!!

Hi ppls well last day in SA the wedding was gorgeous & a whole lot of fun. After travelling from Mclaren Vale to Nuriootpa on Tuesday, we spent yesterday scouring cemetries, old farmhouses and old churches for family history going back to my great grandfather's grandfather who arrived in Aldinga SA in 1800's and moved up to Kapunda. We were also lucky enough to catch up & have lunch with the newlyweds in Clare. Today we are going down to Williamstown SA & some wineries around the Barossa then on the road again tomorrow for home Thanx SA for a great time hope to see you again soon..... will post photos soon...

 

Well it's time for a change

Well our trip north only lasted 1 week instead of 6 After having a pain in my back for a coupla days ( putting it down to traveling for 2 days straight) then developing an itch in the same area & pain increasing I went to a all hours doctor ( early Sunday morning) to find out I had shingles.I have allergies to most common pain relievers ( codeine, opiates etc) so finding relief wasn't easy. 
I decided if I was going to be in pain & not able to do anything it was time to be at home where I wouldn't disturb or burden my in-laws. 2 days of excruciating pain in the car ( sorry the rash had taken over my left shoulder blade area with pain thru to the chest, breast, armpit & top of arm) to get home where Peter has been a great help & carer.
It is 6 weeks later I have had a various combinations of medications the last one prescribed yesterday but the rash is nearly gone but the pain continues to make life uncomfortable.
Before I got really sick I had enrolled for a class with Linda Baldock at A Scrappe Angels Heaven so I dosed up really well and attended having Robyn next to me to help I made it thru & with a few finishing touch still to come I am pleased I went & I will post photos when it is complete.

Nearly that time again...

Hi everyone it is nearly that time again to head north. Three weeks tomorrow to be exact. I must admit sitting here a little cold it will be great to head for the warmth for a coupla months. Hope you will follow me on our adventures.

Well we are off to the west on Wednesday, to Perth then down to Margaret River for our nephew's wedding with all the in-laws so it should be fun, fun, fun......

HI!!! I AM STILL HERE

Well where has the time gone???
Christmas has been & gone.. We are now in 2012... and we are now looking forward to another new grand baby ( September ) a trip to the West in April & another trip up the Centre in June,July & possibly August so there is a bit to plan for.

We celebrated  the 1st family birthday of the year yersterday Jason turned 39 so we had a family BBQ

Will try to post at least once a week from now on

WHERE DID THAT WEEK GO

The last coupla days at Mum & Dad's were quiet with packing on the last day. Mum & Dad were not happy to see us go but they will be down shortly to head for Tassie for Xmas.
We had two solid days travel home stopping at Dubbo overnite on the Saturday, home about 4.30 Sunday after two 5.45am starts.
Monday up at 9.30am for brekkie then back to bed again til 11.30am then a lazy afternoon with a bit of unpacking.
Tuesday & Wednesday were looking after our boy days, he is such a cutie.

Pa is yoghurt good for the complexion?????

 Anyone for a tissue???? They have been used once very quick nose wipe only LOL!!!!!
Unfortunately by the end of the day his little nose was running & he was pulling on his left ear hope he is not coming down with a cold... Val XXX
